S S Nandurdikar, Managing Director
Mr. S. S. Nandurdikar is the Present Managing Director in addition to holding the position as Managing Director of Paradeep Phospates. He is a B. Tech. (1967–Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. He has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from Bajaj Institute of Management, University of Bombay in addition to completing other professional courses and activities. He has a rich experience of 33 years in the business of EPC services and contracts in different sectors like process industry, metallurgical industry, cement industry, power industry. Out of these, 23 years were with M/s. Larsen & Toubro in their EPC group at Powai, Mumbai (ending with being SBU Chief), 4 years as Managing Director of Lurgi India Ltd., a subsidiary of Lurgi AG and more than 8 years as Managing Director in Simon India Ltd.
Bhaskar Chatterjee, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Bhaskar Chatterjee is the Present Chief Operating Officer of Simon India Limited, based at New Delhi. He is a Mechanical Engineer with over 40 Years of experience in Operation, Maintenance Engineering and Project execution of Chemical Process Plants in India and oversees. Skills in Managing resources, Risks, Quality and Safety have taken the company forward in recent times.
Ashok Grover, Director (Operations and Engineering)
Mr. Ashok Grover is Director (O & E) at Simon India Limited. Having worked with reputed Engineering, Consulting & Contracting Companies in the Process Industry and has vast exposure to a wide range of Industries. He has done B. Tech (Chemical) Degree from Indian Institute of Technoloy, Delhi and Masters Degree from University of Louisville. He has worked with various Process Engineering Companies & carries abundant knowledge of handling huge projects in limited time with Quality.
P. G Bhandarkar, Director (Business Development)
Prabhakar Bhandarkar is a top notch Chemical Engineer by profession. He is a first rank holder at the B.Tech. graduate degree course and M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Kanpur, India. He has worked during the last 44 years with companies of international repute which includes Hindustan Unilever, Alfa Laval, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Dorr Oliver, Lurgi, Mott Mac Donald and presently Simon India. He has acquired diversified professional experience in various capacities covering Research & Development, Process Engineering and Plant Design, Project Management, Marketing & Contracts Management and Business Development which includes technology tie ups /strategic alliances. He has worked on projects in Oil Refining, Petrochemicals, Fertilisers and other industrial sectors.
He is a life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers and board member of Process Plant & Manufactures Association of India. He has to his credit over 100 techno-commercial articles published in Indian and International journals which includes bottom of the barrel technologies like RFCC, Vac Residue distillation, IGCC based integrated refinery as well as Coal Gasification, alternate Fuels and Feedstocks etc. He has presented many techno commercial papers at various symposiums in India and abroad.
Ajit P Nerurkar, Director (Process Plant Business)
Mr. Ajit Nerurkar has joined Director- Process Plant Business at Simon India Limited. He is a B. Chem. Engg. from University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), University of Mumbai. He has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Administrative Management from Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management, University of Bombay. He has 32 years of rich and varied experience of multi-facet Marketing covering entire spectrum of Engineering and Capital goods Industries, from marketing of Technology / Engineering consultancy to capital Goods equipment and complete Process Plants on EPC basis to core sector industries like Hydrocarbon, Fertilizer, Chemical, mineral and Cement Industries. He has worked with reputed Engineering, Consulting & Contracting organizations like M/s Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd , Kilburn Engineering Ltd, Larsen & Toubro Limited and Chemtex Global Engineers Pvt Ltd.
Vivek R Thakur, Director
He has done Masters in Chemical Engineering with 30 Years experience in Process Engineering for Chemical Plants. Mr. Vivek Thakur is currently looking after SIL's Projects in Saudi Arabia.
